Hitch Pins and Locks

Hitch Pins and Clips: A hitch pin and clip is a two-piece, high-strength fastener system used to secure a trailer ball mount, cargo carrier, or other accessory into a vehicle's receiver hitch. The pin (straight metal rod) goes through the receiver holes, while the clip (spring clip/R-clip) secures the opposite end to prevent it from sliding out during transport.

Hitch Locks: Like a hitch pin and clip, a hitch lock is designed to insert into the fastener hole in the side of a receiver tube and hold a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory in place. Hitch locks offer security to prevent trailer theft by securing the ball mount inside the receiver or locking the coupler, making it impossible to tow away a trailer unauthorized.
